Making Room at Advent
Welcoming Mary & Joseph
Las Posadas is a tradition in some cultures that welcomes an actual “Mary” and an actual “Joseph” as they process from home to home in the 9 days prior to Christmas.
In our tradition, we are sharing a one-piece nativity set that travels from home to home. Welcome the nativity set. Host it for a night or two. Say the included prayer or light a candle (how will you make it important to you?). Then get the set to the next home and take a picture of the new host with the nativity scene.
